10/07/08 - MARKETING AND DESIGN assistant
The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support and coordination for a wide range of marketing, print and web projects for all Purity Spring companies. This position will report to, and work with, the Director of Marketing and will be expected to work an average of 20 hours weekly.

During the ski season, some weekend and holiday work will be needed and midweek days may require early morning start times (7:30am).

Skiing or snowboarding will also be needed at times in order to fulfill responsibilities.

Position entails some of the following:

• Assists in design and layout of web and print advertising
• Maintain and track web and print advertising
• Assists with cross-marketing of Purity companies
• Assists with regular duties such as photo-taking, downloading and uploading
• Assists with seasonal duties such taking surveys, working with guests, and event coordination
• Assists in planning and coordinating projects, tasks and events
• Writes/supports proofreading, editing, graphic & web design and production management for marketing projects
• Assists in market research and reports findings
• Maintains content on the websites 
• Provides administrative support and performs other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong written and oral communication skills required
• Strong attention to detail a must
• Must know how to conduct research on the internet
• Experience with graphic and web design software a must
  - Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator
  
• Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects
• Must work well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Should be comfortable in a collaborative, team environment

Education and Experience:

1. A college degree in a related field or equal experience (marketing/communications/public relations)
2. Should be comfortable on skis or snowboard 

This is not an Entry level position. Consideration for this position will only be given to those with the above-mentioned qualifications.
